
Marcus Lane
Marcus trained at Sheffield’s Granville College (now Castle College) and undertook his professional training at the Savoy Hotel in London.
Marcus then moved to Sutherlands in London where he worked under Gary Hollihead. Positions at a variety of prestigious establishments followed; Buckland Manor Hotel in Gloucestershire and Gleneagles in Scotland to name a few.
Marcus then moved to Sydney, Australia for 3 years to further his experience. Marcus returned to Sheffield to take up the position of Head Chef at Rafters Restaurant, before becoming Chef/Proprietor in 2002.
